Kent Public Health Champions 2018

We know that companies and education centres have limited budgets, so you need a training solution which is value for money. The only way to achieve this is to design courses and workshops which are based on current best practice guidelines - gained from research, reviews and studies of what works, both nationally and internationally.

At Health Talks, all our courses are based on current best - practice guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO), National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and UK Government guidelines. We use evidence gained from the evaluation of training programmes from around the world to ensure that the courses are fit-for-purpose and provide long term learning and benefits for participants. They can be tweaked to suit your group and we have a comprehensive evaluation system in place to ensure quality and satisfaction for all involved.

Ongoing support is recommended after each course so as to ensure the learning is embedded into the day to day practices of the organisation. This can be achieved through a supported review of the relevant policies and procedures in a workplace setting.

  • Pre- agreed success criteria for each course
  • Ethical business culture and practices
  • Ongoing support to embed learning
  • 10 years of experience in the field of Public Health
  • Experience of private, public and voluntary sector organisations
  • Realistic pricing
  • An agreed agenda of learning criteria
  • Prior reading of course subject matter
  • Recommendations for follow-up to embed learning
  • A timetable for policy or procedure change where required
  • An agreed course evaluation process
We offer courses and workshops on the following topics :
