Volunteers and Community Groups are vital to our communities. Providing training for volunteers has traditionally consisted of half day courses relevant only to the roles they carry out. But what if your organisation can provide accredited training for volunteers which will bring health benefits to them and their families- as well as to your community and service users?

Accredited training courses for volunteers improve both recruitment and retention of volunteers. Our programmes offer flexible courses suited to the needs of your organisation, volunteers and service users.

Other courses offered include:
  • Healthy Eating and Nutrition: an introduction (half day course)
  • Cooking skills (a two hour weekly session for 6 weeks)
  • Health Promotion- helping your service users to help themselves (a half or one day course)
  • Developing a community project (a one day project management course)

All of the above courses are tailored to the needs of your group and can be delivered in any community venue.
